Julie has lived and worked extensively across the Pacific Islands region as an educator, mentor, adviser, team leader and programme manager.
Improving education service delivery is her primary focus but her skills in strategic planning, human resource management, quality assurance, monitoring and evaluation can be applied to all sectors.
She has worked for the New Zealand Aid Programme, managing consultants (The Palladium Group, Tetra Tech, Coffey, Scope Global) and volunteer sending agencies (VSA, AVI, UNDP).
Drawing on skills acquired during a credible history of field-based experience in southern Africa and the Pacific Islands, Julie’s pragmatic collaborative approach enables partners to identify practical and realistic solutions which address the need and fit the local context.
Julie is now based on the Kapiti Coast, New Zealand, and when she’s not travelling for work, she’s planning adventures or on the move exploring the world.
